Default Which Gala death impacted you most?

    During the Hellfire Gala we lost 4 characters;

1- Gabby, aka Honey Badger, aka Scout, most likely killed by the Farouk.

2- Pete Wisdom, murdered by Coven Akkaba

3- Christiaan Frost killed by a mysterious figure

4- Scarlet With, aka the Pretender, by an unknown

Now did any of them shock you and left a scratch on your heart?

A little kid whose resurrection is in doubt vs a bunch of adults, 2 of whom will be resurrected the moment it's discovered what happened to them. Kind of an unfair comparison.

I don't care about any of them. lol In the comics I've read none of this actually has happened. ;-) Oops, crossover fail. All "important" deaths not in the main storyline.

Hands down gabby. because i don't really care about death stories but i didn't see Gabby's coming and her journey so far has been despite feeling she may not have a place because of cloning she still tried to help everyone else find their place on the island.

I forgot Pete died. (I drink to forget Tini's writing)

With peace and love, they all struck a heavy cord for me -- with the small exception of Pete.

Gabby's death, although not entirely unexpected with all the talk of clone controversy, still shot through the heart something fierce.
Christian's death, albeit very "hey wait what??", shook me because of my love for Emma.
Wanda's APPEARANCE AT ALL during the Gala and her exchange with Dadneto was a jaw dropper, and then when SHE dropped, I found myself excited! Not because I'm a "yay she's dead" x-fan, but because of the drama it would inevitably incite. Being a Billy & Tommy STAN, I hope/crave/beg that they appear in the trial mini.

Pete's never had an impact on me, as a fan, so that one just didn't get much out of me. I'm sad for Betsy? I guess? It was dramatic AF and well executed for sure.

Lol you need to drink to forget her writing?? It’s not like it leaves a lasting impact.

Gabby's death was the saddest for me but Wanda's death is the dramatic cliffhanger on the Friday episode of your favorite soap, you know?
I felt bad for Wisdom too because he was trying to keep the peace between the two nations. But he's not very likable.

Although Wanda's death is going to have the biggest impact on the books going forward story-wise, Gabby's death is by FAR the bigger gut punch.

Wanda is a core member of the Avengers, and is set to become a major player in the MCU in the current phase. Anyone who thinks her death is going to last for very long clearly doesn't understand comics or marketing synergy.

However while Gabby has connections to two very popular characters in the X-office, she's STILL a teen character, and a very new one at that. And we've seen how causally Marvel treats killing off X-Teens while the Claremont/Byrne/Lee cast gets a free pass through the Afterlife Revolving Door. With her being the clone of a clone already hanging over her during the "Death is even MORE meaningless than usual for comics" Krakoa era, I can easily see Marvel leaving her in the dirt long-term.

So does it mean that our beloved mutant Gabby has been suppressed by the non-mutant white? (it's a joke)

Gabby has no soul/isn't a real person so who cares.

There's already enough generic teen brats in the X-Books, kill off more I say

Pete deserved worse for being a Warren Ellis stand-in character until Warren pulls his head of his hypocritical arse and owns his shitty behaviour.
