Could there be a shadowy Dark Council on Krakoa?

It dawned on me after seeing this pic, there is probably a counter to the Quiet Council on Krakoa. A group of mutants who care little for the light and hope Krakoa offers and wish nothing but dominations, destruction and are just evil.

Given the resent murders, I wouldn't be shocked to find out a shadow group has planned this out since Krakoa opened it's gates

Moira would make no sense there. She's the one behind the Krakoa era.
And most of the evil mutants who would create a Dark Council are already members of the Quiet Council anyway.

For a scenario like this, I would think being on the Quiet Council wouldn't instantly mean they couldn't also be on a shadow/dark council too. They might go along with the Quiet Council and Krakoa publicly while using what they know to work against it secretly.

If there is a Shadow Council its probably made of people like Moonstar, Northstar and Stacy X. They are trying to make Kroka work but they don't fully trust the QC's intentions and are willing to both secrets from the QC and make important soicety shaping decisions with out counsoling or even informing them.

That could make sense, a shadow council not in the sense of evil, but in the sense of we don't agree with QC politics. And add an interesting layer to the mutant saga

I think Xavier and Moira would know if there was a secret shadow council on Krakoa, they have eyes and ears everywhere. As it stands I see Xavier, Magneto and Moira as a shadow council outside of the standing QC. Those three have their own agenda and machinations going on.

Even though it's an interesting idea, assuming say Selene claims she should be among the heads of Krakoa and chooses her own 'dark mutants' who keep tabs and report to her.I can see it forming in total secrecy,but Moira cannot be on it(no one can know about her)Maybe replace her with Darkstar/Wicked, add on Vincente Cimetta and that would be alright.I don't know why Exodus is mentioned, he doesn't seem to be they type to either roll with Selene or betray the original council...unless he openly sees Magnus and Xavier tolerating Sinister sitting next to him as an affront or discovers that Magnus and Xavier have been hiding truths.I still doubt he'd roll with Selene, he'd rather go to Arrako

Hmm, this could very well be the case. One of the Sinister Secrets said there are more councils than you think orbiting the sun. Obviously we've got the QC, but there's also the Illuminati, Orchis, Peacock Men, Arrako's Great Ring, but there could also be another on Krakoa itself.

Do we need an evil version of an organization mostly comprised of former and barely former supervillains? They're like two or three seats out from just deciding to either let the humans die or kill them all themselves frankly.

Well, if you consider the trifecta of McTaggart, Lensherr and Xavier a dark council then yes they exist.
