Saw this Doris Day flick on TCM the other day with Glaydis and Abner Kravitz from Bewitched. Does this mean the movie and the show share the same universe, along with The Man from U.N.C.L.E.?

THE GLASS BOTTOM BOAT came out in 1966, two years into the run of BEWITCHED--and Alice Pearce must have made it not long before she died. Paul Lynde was also in the movie. From the cast list, it looks like they used a few actors who were known from T.V. at the time.
I've always thought that BEWITCHED was inspired by the 1958 movie BELL, BOOK AND CANDLE--Jimmy Stewart is the Darren type to Kim Novak's witch--those two also appeared together in VERTIGO the same year. BELL, BOOK AND CANDLE in turn was a Broadway play which began its run in 1950.
