Favorite Avenger Recruit

Since the beginning of the latest volume when Iron Man and Captain America decided to go big, who is your favorite new Avenger and why? And do you think that they will continue past this volume when 8 months later comes to pass?

I know he's not exactly a fan-favorite, but I like Starbrand a lot. Cool origin, cool powers, and I really connect with his beginnings as a mild-mannered kid who was always just a member of the supporting cast in other peoples' more successful lives.

Hyperion, without a doubt. This version seems very interesting.

I can't pick it's between Hyperion, Smasher and manifold.

I do like Starbrand (as a character) but this version hasn't really captured me yet. But I am still intrigued. And Hyperion is very cool even though I am not too keen on alternate universe characters (Rachel Grey excluded over course) crossing over to 616. And Smasher is very interesting though I am very surprised that the Shi'ar would every pick an Earthling for the Imperial Guard.

Oh yea, I get it! And I love the new Hyperion, too; he's a very close second. As are Smasher, Captain Universe, and Havok (although he's in a different book lol).

Shang-Chi for me. I just think he is such an amazing character and to get to see him with the big boys puts a smile on my face. He's got Stark tech to help him keep up with the foes they are fighting.

It would be nice if she actually showed up. It seems like they've forgotten her.

Manifold gets my vote simply because they've needed someone with powers like his for a long time. And the way he uses his powers in combat is really cool.

Hyperion, Smasher, And Starbrand are all cool , too.

I'd really like to know more about Night Mask, as well. I don't even know if we've been told or shown much of what he can do.

I'm going with Havok, he's been pretty awesome throughout Uncanny Avengers as it's leader and I hope that whatever team book Remender is writing next, perhaps Astonishing Avengers, Havok will be a part of that as well.
