Default Is Tempest, the original Aqualad, in or out of continuity now?

I came across his old Phil Jimenez series the other day while sorting away some older books. What is or was his fate? Dolphin too I suppose. Man I miss PD and Dan Jurgens work on Arthur..anyone?

He's still in-continuity, he just doesn't appear much now. I do think it's odd that he isn't teaching in Teen Titans Academy, since he isn't doing anything else right now.

"He just doesn't appear much now" is you being generous. He doesn't appear at all.

Last time we saw him was during Death Metal.
DC: Dick Grayson, Wally West, Donna Troy, Yara Flor, Titans

Some of my favorite Mangas: One Piece, Slam Dunk, Fullmetal Alchemist, HunterXHunter, Vinland Saga, Monster, Berserk, Vagabond.
Current reading: Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, Kaiju Nș8, Blue Lock, Dandadan.

I don't think we've seen him in an Aquaman book (outside those Walmart comics) since like, one issue midway in Abnett's run.

Maybe they should have him join the Doom Patrol?

Or is Joshua Clay still a member of the DP?

So, minor rant. That this thread is necessary makes me indescribably pissed off at DC.

The OP's question is totally legit.

That The Source of The Superhero, and The Superhero Universe, and The Superhero Multiverse has made such a mess of things that threads like this are necessary makes me want to beat somebody's head on a rock.

He died in 1992, hence the name becoming vacant for Garth to use.

New 52 caused him to be restored to life, but he found out about Caulder and faked his death. There's been newer rosters of the Doom Patrol since 2013 without him.

So, he's either dead or retired, definitely not still in the Doom Patrol.

This posts expresses a level of agitation that I too share.

He is and they reused old art for him.

In the tv show, he's currently babysitting Caulder's first Doom Patrol in a private sanitarium.
But he appears only in his civilian identity and hasn't been referred to as Tempest.

Dolphin was re-introduced during the "Crown of Thorns" arc. However this is a new version of her with a different backstory. While she has many of the same traits as her original incarnation, the current version of Dolphin is a sea-changed (mutant) Atlantean rather than a bio-modified human. Also she has never even met Garth, let alone married him.

More than any of his peers, Garth got hit hard by the sidekick glass ceiling.

I'm hoping Garth is on DC's to-do list.

Dick Grayson is recognisable as Nightwing again.
They've done a great job cleaning up Wally West. (Seriously, Adams is KILLING it on that book.)
They're in the process of sorting out Roy Harper (and Lian!).
Now let's get Donna recognisable again and Garth returned to his bad-arse self.
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.

Donna Troy has at least as bad a concussion.
