God, I love this book so so much.
Keep in mind that you have about as much chance of changing my mind as I do of changing yours.

Was wondering how King was going to throw another loop given there were still plenty off issues to go yet the main plot thread had already been resolved. Guy somehow being alive still is certainly an interesting one.

Yeah , Tom picks some good, not so well know characters and does great work with them , for the most part .
Just lots of delays all the time .

To be fair, these series are 12 issues of 28 or so page stories. Current artist speeds make maintaining a monthly schedule difficult, especially considering that even King's detractors usually like the art..

You actually make a very good point, about the 28 pages on most of King's books .
That's one thing that I really enjoy, is a longer read.
I'm glad to pay more for more pages and he does deliver .
I'm definitely not a King detractor at all .
Back when he was writing Batman, he said that he had a plan for about 105 issues.
I've wondered what his run would have been like ?
Also I don't think that Bat/Cat was really his intended continuation , but I guess that only he knows that.

The two books I'm planning on this week are Human Target and Danger Street. I guess I'm a Tom King fans as well.

He grows on you. I wasn't a fan of his style at first (Mister Miracle) but then he grew on me (Batman) and now I think he's an A grade writer. (The Human Target)

I'm purposely avoiding rewatching DOA until this is through because I don't want to remember how the book ends before it does.

These days, it seems the trick to enjoying a Tom King book is figuring out which movie he's copying and just deliberately forgetting what happens in it. :/
    May we never forget:

I always hear John Candy’s voice when reading G’Nort’s dialogue. He reminds me of Barf from Spaceballs.
