    I love how they have to make the distinction between this and King's "angier books" like Strange Adventures.

    That's the funniest code for "I'm not going to turn the old superheroes you like into monsters" I've ever seen seen in King's many, many apology tours that followed the Heroes in Crisis debacle.

    I've seen Loeb described as an artists writer.

    I think it's because they give the artists a lot of room to experiment and show off. Not necessarily a bad thing. Just something that they do.

    Hah, King’s been talking about Supergirl, this, and his next DC book as part of a new “phase” for him for a while. The man is self aware about his brand as seen in that interview.
