I collect everything Tom King in trade paperback ... I think the only stuff of his I didn't connect with was his Batman stuff. Beyond that he can do no wrong.
Strange Adventures was a random assassination of an older DC character because King has to dark deconstructions of classic heroes. And much like Orion form Miracleman, I imagine it's going to be affecting Adam going forward.
I'm not saying it's a perfect story or anywhere near kings best.
I just don't have a raging hard on of hate for it like a certain group of people have.
Ultimately the fall was met with a fun redemption take that was important to dc and it made hic more then palatable for me.
But I definitely understand why so may be upset by it.
So now Fire will be the new "femme fatale" and naturally a "flaming" one to boot. Does that mean he'll have a relationship with her too. Either way, you can't say ol' Chance won't go out in style, a dying man bangs two super-powered best friends and kills a Green Lantern isn't the worst way to kick the bucket.
Everything I have read of Tom King has been terrible to me. Especially HIC...that being said I have read the first two issues of Human Target on DC Universe App and I really like it so far. And LOVE the art.
Read The Flash#1 this September!
