CaptainEurope because seeing a Richie Rich cover brings back a lot of memories from when I was a kid and you could buy comic books like Casper the Friendly Ghost, Richie Rich, Sad Sack, and so many others published by Harvey Comics.

Tami for the cover with Stan and Ollie.

Nshchornhorst gets an honorable mention for creative thinking. And the two good covers featuring the Punisher from nx01a and surf

Greg Hatcher for that gorgeous James Jean Fables cover.

Now that voting is just about over, I want to add I thought I remembered that discussion. IIRC it's a swipe from perhaps a Sports Illustrated cover featuring Kathy Ireland. There was always a lot of talk about his "porn faces" showing up numerous times.

I can see an artist using photo referencing to make a cover so it can be a slippery slope sometimes. But with so much work that can be done digitally it can be tempting to take the easy way out with deadlines approaching.

    Congratulations to Greg Hatcher!

And a slight correction: Greg received 5 votes, not 4.

Thanks to Kai "the spy" for the chance to be Iznogoud.

Thanks for the vote! Flying camels are a real rarity because flying horses are obviously the favorites.

Yep. American camels developed an ability to eat creosote bushes that they passed on to their Old World descendants; so when these were introduced into their ancestral continent they had no problem with the plant.
