Yeah. This is going to go horribly. Also it looks like the kids weren't informed of the Tran situation since that's not a 'little thing.'

The communication failures are really coming back to bite the New Mutants now. Laura and Illyana would raise hell to get Gabby resurrected if they were told about this and both have serious clout right now. Instead we're getting a plan that can go wrong in so many ways. The one good thing is they're not telling Farouk since he's 99% for sure the killer.

The original New Mutants had Karma taken over by Farouk for months, the entire team getting murdered by the Beyonder, Xavier leaving them in Magneto's hands, Doug getting killed, Illyana getting killed, and the survivors leaving after Magneto starts to turn into a villain again. Not too familiar with Gen X, but the New X-Men generation was constantly getting tortured or even killed.

The O5 did relatively well with the X-terminators. No one died on their watch. Generation Hope and Cyclop's class did okay as well
