Poseidons look was the only one I did a "is that him?" look. Top half looks just how I'd expect...but...is he a centaur?

There was a panel that made me think he had the lower body of a horse, but in another panel it looked like an eel or some sort of serpentine creature (?). The only deity whose look was very difficult for my eyes to make heads or tails out of was Dyonisus.

I think his look was meant to evoke a centaur but the horse parts are mixed to be aquatic.

Horses are sacred animals to him and Pegasus is his son, so I imagine that's why Jimenez designed him that way

I figured it was a reference to horses being an animal he’s associated with. I’d have to go back and check but I noticed he also didn’t have his trident.

Her reasons are explained in the story. She's not exactly a man-hater. She's probably the most intriguing character in the first book, largely because part of her motivations is still a mystery.
