That's the best representation of Zeus I've seen in a long time, he seemed competent and powerful. It's not out of the realm of possibility that Zeus may like being tied to Diana in order to keep himself relevant. I could see him conspiring to perpetuate the myth that he's responsible for her creation, because in his mind he's the father of all the gods, so when the others blessed her clay statue with life he was ultimately the patriarch.

I said something similar in the Wonder Woman headcanons thread.

Every time the DC universe gets rebooted, Zeus is aware of this and tries to control how the Amazons' history is shaped to center him to varying degrees of success. With the 80s crisis, he was able to alter the Amazons' technological and societal progression, as well as splinter them. In the New 52 reboot, he remade Diana into his daughter.

I really like the gods portrayal in Shazam, but I also feel like it kinda makes Wonder Woman's relationship with them even dumber and also how kinda easy the Shazam family dealt with them also kinda cheapens Wonder Woman's problem with them.

I agree, she has dealt with them to much and as you said it never ends well.
From just the three first issues and as well as from interviews it doesn't seem like King has much plans for the gods which I'm thankful for.

Cassie and Donna have both had similar outfits, but this one feels very.... Fourth World. So much so I thought it was a New God when seeing the panel.
