Cloak is a potentially intangible gateway into the darkforce dimension, as I recall. Trying to hit/grab/attack him is a recipe for losing.

I dunno, the bit I remember from Cloak was when he was like "Not even a GOD could tear off my cloak", followed up by a five year old girl tearing off his cloak.
