Default The (original) original live action WW?

How the HELL have I never heard of this?

A 1967 attempt at a Wonder Woman TV show that preceded both Cathy Lee Crosby’s and Lynda Carter’s 70s TV movie and classic series.

LOL…You’ve been living under a rock or you’re very young…??

    Well I’m 53 so unless you’re 138, it’s the latter!

I think most people haven't heard of this. I certainly hadn't until now. It seems to be very obscure.

Yeah, obscure to the general audience but I was fairly sure all the regulars around these parts knew about it. :-)

Yup, based on the success of Batman, they attempted a comedic take on Wonder Woman. Fortunately, it did not get anywhere. Then the almost there Cathy Lee Crosby tv movie that really wasn't it either. Thankfully, someone at WB thought Wonder Woman had some potential and now when people think of Wonder Woman on tv they think of Lynda Carter and not whatever that was.

It was the guy that produced the Batman TV series, William Dozier if I remember right. They were definitely playing it tongue and cheek and not to be taken seriously at all. I think the Wonder Woman that she sees as herself (fantasy to her) is the girl from the Planet of the Apes movie with Charlton Heston.

I'm 53 also which shows my age and trivia like this.

Was that the fellow doing the narration?
It sounded like the voice on Batman.

Yeah, years ago I heard of and saw them before a few times (1967 and the Cathy Lee version). Simply awful!

Palicky looked the part (except for the awful costume, that is). Too bad the film is crap (I saw the whole thing. It's...not good.)
