I enjoyed the fight between Medusa and Nubia but this book really shines so much when it's exploring the Themysciran community. I caught myself thinking "I wish I could visit" when they showed the tavern.

Williams hinted so much at it, it didn't come as a surprise to me but I am tremendously happy. It's a welcome change. And of course the Goddesses mentioned it immediately, lol.

It's a terrific weapon. I hope we'll see Nubia use it a lot in Trial and whatever comes after.

This could be considered the final number of this miniseries, it closes the plot arc in a very satisfactory way. It establishes Nubia in terms of abilities and powers and the twist with Medusa is excellent, a very Marstean ending.
It leaves open some possibilities, and establishes the Amazons as a diverse society, both culturally and geographically.
As it is clear that the next issue is a follow-up to the big event, I really hope that this creative team continues to develop even more about Nubia and the Amazons after TotA.

If that is the case, I'd like her not to be queen but a hero and adventurer. Maybe explore Dooms doorway or some obscure Wondy villains.

Edit: Ideally a 2-princess rule with Diana would be my hope, and they both still go out and do things. Hippolyta and a small council take care of most mundane matters.
