The old Invisible Man series from a number of years ago, the guy that could turn invisible was a thief and not the one that was supposed to have the power, but not sure how long the show ran as it was back in either the late 90's or since then...

Salvage 1 starring Andy Griffith, Joel Higgins, and Trish Stewart.

All I remember was the premiere TV movie where Griffith played a salvage dealer that recruits a team to go to the moon and salvage artifacts from the first US landing.

It was a great movie and ratings were so high that it was turned into a short-lived series.

Yeah, it had huge ratings at first because Andy Griffith. I followed it all the way but I think people realized it wasn't just Mayberry with another name and they lost interest.

The one from SyFy in the late 90's. I remember that show although I lost interest later on in the series. This was back when SyFy had some cool shows. Another one that didn't last long was Exposure. It was a show that showed a collection of short films from that genre. Think it lasted only a couple of seasons. The closest thing we have to that now is DUST.

Video won't play but if it's the one that used to air in the early days of The Sci-Fi Channel then yes that show was good, I think the second season was a letdown as two major characters from season one were killed off and whereas the first season the aliens were more incognito on the planet it seemed in season two that the aliens had finally conquered the planet and it looked like there was no hope for humanity.

If it's the one from Sci-Fi Channel it lasted 2 seasons and I guess that's where it ended since during the show he had a time limit as to how long and how often he could turn invisible without going crazy due to a built-in defect built of the gland that could turn him invisible. In the last episode of season 2 they fixed the defect eliminating the time limit.
