Before female legacies weren’t popular. Look at how Monica Rambeau the first female Captain Marvel was treated in the 80s when her creator Roger Stern was forced of The Avengers.
First female superhero to reach 100 issues in an ongoing. That’s a first so it’s forever. Also only one so far but I expect Captain Marvel to get there albeit with so many relaunches it gets confusing. I expect when they get to 100 cumulative issues over many volumes they will go to “original numbering”. Of course in the Pre-superhero days Marvel put out titles like Millie the Model which did reach 100 issues. That was a romance comic cantered on a female cast. Patsy Walker started out in one of those titles as a civilian before being incorporated as a superhero as Hellcat. But she didn’t sell as many issues as Hellcat.
