    Era distinctions matter.otherwise you will be thrown off by characterization and where these guys are coming from in general..Besides that,these guys are vastly different characters...

    I didn't mean that Naruto and the others didn't have forefathers, but they don't stand on Dragon Ball in the same way that Jon stands on Clark or Yara stands on Wonder Woman.
    Pre-Crisis Superman did remember Krypton, was constantly coming across reminders of it as a young boy and had felt alienated and having to hide who he was his whole life, so For The Man Who Has Everything rang more true for him than it may have for the Post-Crisis Superman (or for the Golden Age Superman, for that matter).
