I'd go with neither, watching them they both feel almost like parodies of gangster films. If we're talking the best 90's gangster flick period I'd go with Edward James Olmos' American Me. Not only did it have a much more gritty, realistic feel but it had heart too.

    Goodfellas is better, IMO.

    Along this line...

In addition to that film not just being the "Clown Shoes..." version of where a life in crime will actually get you, King Of New York is also better than either of these films when it comes to the reality of it and being invested in the characters.

Everyone is going to say Goodfellas but think casino is by far the better movie.

I think Casino is easily the better film, more fun to watch, and more satisfying too. Sharon Stone was EVERRRRYTHING!
"We are Shakespeare. We are Michelangelo. We are Tchaikovsky. We are Turing. We are Mercury. We are Wilde. We are Lincoln, Lorca, Leonardo da Vinci. We are Alexander the Great. We are Fredrick the Great. We are Rustin. We are Addams. We are Marsha! Marsha Marsha Marsha! We so generous, we DeGeneres. We are Ziggy Stardust hooked to the silver screen. Controversially we are Malcolm X. We are Plato. We are Aristotle. We are RuPaul, god dammit! And yes, we are Woolf."

I'd say Goodfellas is better by just a bit, but I really like both. And Casino was the movie I watched on the plane when I went to Vegas a few years ago.

Goodfellas. Casino felt like a bloated retread although that's a bit unfair as it is still pretty enjoyable, but I'd put Goodfellas ahead by a mile. Also feels like Casino cemented Scorcese's reputation for "only" doing mafia movies (which of course if far from the case)

I'm not enough of a connoisseur to say which is better, but I enjoyed Goodfellas more. While I liked Casino, I found myself mildly annoyed by all three of its main characters.

What he said. Maybe not by a mile, but the characters in Casino are just a lot less engaging.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Yeah I'd say Goodfellas by a large margin as well.

Casino is fun, but Goodfellas surpasses it.

Goodfellas. Like Casino just fine, but Goodfellas has the better story and overall cast and characters.
