And yet, that's what the series seems to go with. He's normal tough inside the TVA and super tough outside it. For whatever reason, he doesn't have his powers inside the TVA, and that's pretty consistent.

Is it? I remember him being beaten up by that random enchanted dude in the Walmart. His performance in fights seems pretty consistent in and out of the headquarters. I vaguely recall him shoving some dudes around on the train that looked kinda beefy, but nothing that wowed me.

He was knocked around but not noticeable injured after either of those fights. And I'm inclined to think that he didn't kill the possessed people because he didn't have any reason to kill them.

Even after being thrown off a train moving at full speed, he just walked it off. He didn't have the best fight record in the series, but as long as he was outside of the TVA, nothing really did more than disorientate him.
