Great line in a good series. Sinestro being called a "Red-faced defecation" was fun too...but good series. No one learns any moral lesson...at no point were they ever called the "Crime Syndicate" though, and the team needs Johnny Quick to work, but otherwise, it leaves me wanting more. Hands down the most interesting thing DC has done this year.

So did this actually set up anything or was it just reestablishing the Crime Syndicate?

All I know is that the syndicate recently ran into the Suicide Squad.

Didn't set anything up beyond Earth 3, but left a lot of open ends intentionally. Owlman's " Nothing Matters" mantra used to mean no thing means anything, here it means that nothingness is important, weird that...but no, just an origin story for them.
