I enjoyed the issue as a blockbuster action scene. I think the last issue of ASM made it clear the main story is going on over there while SW is going to contain mostly action.
Some people have noted that Peter is doing badly in battle here because he has been physically and mentally broken down by the events of Spencer's run (which I think was recently revealed to be only a few weeks or months?). I don't think Spencer has done a good job of showing that if it is the case. Peter always seems fresh and ready and there's been very little either in character, speech or body language to suggest he has been drastically worn down by recent events. It certainly doesn't feel like a 'Knightfall' style story overall.
Loved the return of Ana, really didn't see that coming. I'm interested in Otto's characterisation here, he feels off but in a good way. Stoic? Noble? Superior? I'm not sure exactly.
I am also (and have always been) interested in how much of Kindred is genuine and how much is theatrics. Remember, he was getting something from Chameleon which implies he's not all he seems. Did he actually place creatures in the villains' brains or does he just have some device to cause pain? Although I'm fine with the idea of alt-universe Harry, I've never completely bought Kindred as a creature from Hell (and definitely not that he killed/resurrected Peter), but that's my mindset anyway as I'm really not into traditionally religious Heaven/Hell stuff in my mainstream DC/Marvel.
I swear to god, if this entire thing including Kindred himself is a ludicrously elaborate ruse by Mysterio I will lose my **** in a bizarre eruption of joy and rage.
