Black Cat’s been back on the hero’s side for a couple years now (though still does her thieving but she’s always done that). Rhino on the other hand, that’s a strange one considering he went back to villainy after he thought Spider-Man abandoned him to be captured by Taskmaster and Black Ant for Hunted in Amazing Spider-Man and is currently in the Sinister Six in Sinister War.

I don't think Gerry communicated or even read or asked about them, just used them because he felt like it.

I don’t know about Black Cat, but Duggan is definitely aware of Rhino’s current villain status. A couple months ago he wrote Conan the Barbarian teaming up with Rhino to rob a bank and beat up Spider-man.

Oh, thanks for the update. I thought there was some storyline where Black Cat was making a move in the criminal underworld or something?

Either way, yeah, the Rhino thing still doesn't make sense.

Black Cat and Gambit are just displaying solidarity, proving that there is indeed honor amongst thieves. As for Rhino, eh, I don’t see his presence as that big of a deal, he just robs banks and stuff, insignificant compared to the X-men’s current villains

I mean we can go back to the days when characters basically wore white hats or black hats and the two never mingled other then in battle, but should that be something to strive for?

This is awesome. I love seeing the mutants in street clothes, interacting with other Marvel characters and the dialogue is great. Can't wait for next week. This, along with the unlettered panels we saw earlier, have me excited for this issue.
