Esi Morales is a good choice look wise which is all that matters I guess cause a stunt double will do all the fighting with a mask on. Man Bennet is part Polynesian and Esai Morales played a Polyneisan in Rapa Nui. Which has nothing to do with anything, just a thought lol.

They did a good job on Emily's old age makeup. It was nice and subtle.

I wish Mia's hatred of vigilante's was more fleshed out. Is it because her father was one? Because her mother continued to be one while keeping her at home? Because she was trained as one from birth?

Honestly, I'm shocked they didn't make Mia gay as well. I'd have no problem with it, but it just feels like every new character has to be gay.

This does feel like they are setting up a spin-off. I'm guessing their original plan would have been for this story to play out over the course of a few seasons, but Stephen's decision to wrap up the show forced them to speed things up. Now it feels like the week after 8/10 airs, a new Birds of Prey will take it's place.

I agree with you. Because if this isn't setting up a potential spin-off, then you are taking away an episode from the characters we WANT to see. Then again, this episode could have been filmed to cover the absence of Stephen, to give him time off like they gave Grant on The Flash.

I need verification on Connor Hawke. If he's not John Diggle Jr then who the hell is he? I see speculation about him bring Bronze Tiger son and they would be out of whack to me. Say if he is Bronze Tiger son then where the hell is Jr? This feels like someone screwed up the continuity of this universe.
