Super tech Felicity doesn't know there is a spy cam in the lair?
That is some serious bad writing.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Wonder if Cayden James knows the Thinker since they both had the smart idea of putting secret cameras in their arch enemy's headquarters.
i thought the beginning was a dream sequence because speedy was suddenly back and Felicity's pops was just there. Plus everything looked yellow.
And Vigilante being with the bad guys suuuuuucks. He better be doing this just to stop the bad guys.
She never knew that Malcolm was spying on them using the webcams built into her monitors, either. so it's consistently bad writing.
Yeah, I'm having a problem with that. Sure, Vigilante has fought Team Arrow before, but that was always because they were interfering with his warped version of 'justice'. But he was always targeting criminals. I'm kinda hoping he's working with Dinah Drake.
Is there any way Rene comes out of this looking good? Sure, he's turning state's evidence to stay with his daughter- the same daughter Oliver helped him get back. And did they have solid evidence on him, or was it just circumstantial?
So much for Felicity's start-up with Curtis. No way he sticks with her after that. To tell the truth, Curtis could leave the show and I really wouldn't care.
Dinah Drake, on the other hand... I really like her character, I just hate the reason she was brought in.
Welcome back Thea! Now immediately get knocked out! Jesus, who did Willa piss off? Well, maybe now that the team is gone, Thea could suit up again. This also gives a reason why Roy could come back- Oliver needs a hand.
The turn has started for Black Siren. She'll be working with Oliver by the end of the year.
So now it's OTA versus the Legion of Meh.
I have the feeling that if I had never watched ARROW before and I happened to watch this episode and got to the end, I would have assumed the big reveal was supposed to be impressive. But I've been watching this show all along and the big reveal wasn't that impressive. Their Legion of Doom isn't as impressive as the LEGENDS' Legion of Doom. These are two-bit players who don't really matter in the grand scheme of things.
However, I could see this whole episode turning out not to be anything like what we thought. Let's say Team Arrow learned from the mistakes of Team Flash and did a sweep of their HQ and knew they were bugged. So they put on this show for the Secret Society of Super-Villains.
I mean, I'd like to think the writers were that clever. I'm all for a big switcheroo that makes Team Arrow look better.
I think she and Oliver (and probably Diggle) do know. The breakup of the group happened too easily. (Under normal circumstances, Felicty and Diggle would have allowed this to happen without pulling Oliver aside.) I think they want James to think he's won. I'm not sure whether the rest of the team knows and are just helping scam James, but I don't think things are as they seem. Time will tell if I'm right.
Sandy Hausler
Yeah whoever mentioned the Legion of Meh was right. If KG Beast was more impressive or if I knew anything about Richard Dragon or if Cayden James was the Calculator (a character I cared about) or if vigilante had been in costume
Stick "we work together and we get out of here alive"
Matt "peace out suckas"
An interesting theory, but I really don't think the writers are clever enough to come up with that.
So New Team Arrow is going to strike out as their own team after the break? That would be more impressive if the writers hadn't already showed us multiple times how useless they are without a Green Arrow as a team leader.
Here's what gets me- they were upset that Oliver was spying on them? Dinah of ALL people would know that if you receive intel about a possible mole on a team- be it as vigilanties or in law enforcement- you launch an investigation to try and find out where the leak is. That's just common sense. Curtis being upset makes a little more sense, but then he was the only one who wasn't talked too by the FBI.
With Noah showing up to Felicity and Oliver's reception, I wonder if we'll get another Father/Daughter team up to take down Cayden James.
Didn't he end up int he comics to be like and Oracle for the villain community and selling info and other needs to the bad guys? Maybe he helps take down James so he can go on to be that kinda guy in the show.
I am all for the break up being real. Too many bodies out there in the field and in general. I am all for thinning the heard. Let Rene move out of the city when his story is wrapped up at the end of the season. Great run for Curtis, but he can fully retire and run the company, and feed the team some intel here and there, just let it be Oliver and Dinah in the field with occasional spurts from Dig.
Leave Thea permanently retired due to the effects of the blast and the coma, it's a fine out.
The ending was a surprise. Thats what I would call a Legion of Doom.
I really hope Curtis returns though : /
