And she could have just leaned in and blasted his head off his neck at any time with her voice, at least until he activated that power dampener. And really, should have as soon as she realized he was going to be trouble for her.

The whole situation was just a way to facilitate Daddy Lance's goodbye. A better story, I feel, would have involved her sticking around Diaz because she was bored and he provided her the means to kill others, which she all but enjoyed doing at the top of the season. An even better story would have involved no Diaz at all and Siren as the late-in-the-season villain after Cayden, but whatever.

Did we ever see the Longbow Hunters? We didn't right?

So next season will be him in the Supermax (which was the movie idea that was tossed around years ago...Green Arrow in a supermax prison fighting his way out) and then maybe second half of season the Longbow Hunters show up.

I hope they just let Diaz drown though....so terrible.

I actually like Kirk Acevedo a lot as an actor. IMO, the problem isn't him, but the way he is written as virtually unstoppable.

I've seen him in the past and liked him, but I don't like the way he plays this at all. It's not that he's unstoppable, I just don't like the way he plays the role, period (that's my two cents...of course everyone has an opinion).

But yes...agreed...he's not a bad actor, so I'm surprised at how much I despise the way he's playing this. Maybe it just struck me wrong early on and I can't get past it. I dunno.

Well, Komodo was in season 3, but as an unremarkable one-off villain.

I meant they didn't show up in the finale did they? Diaz mentioned them. I am just making sure I'm not blanking out. I guess they will show up next season.

Ok...that's what I was speculating in an post above....first half of season is Ollie in Supermax then maybe Longbow and I guess Diaz.

Hey, it happens. I was just watching an old Randolph Scott western recently that featured an actor whom I normally like a lot, Zachary Scott, as the baddie (which he normally excelled at). Well, he was laughably bad, at least to me. To someone else, he might have been fine.

I actually liked Kirk when he played the subdued version of Diaz, during the beginning/middle of the season.

The second he started hamming up all the time during the last part of the season, I just couldn't take him very seriously anymore.
