I'd just for once would like them to acknowledge characters they've created and then ignored. We never got any kind of resolution of the relationship between Sara and Sin. We occasionally heard about Walter when the plot needed him, otherwise we heard nothing. Hell, Evelyn was forgotten for half of Season 5 before they suddenly remembered she existed and could use her to torture Oliver. They made these characters, so I wish they'd use them.

It also excels in making important plot points vanish. Though that particular trait is more common in The Flash.

Evelyn? Hellllllllllllllllllllllll no. Let that horribly crafted character rest in a million pieces on Lian Yu.

That actually would have made sense! For Argus to just swoop in as they are putting Oillie in the van and say he's ours now and just tell the FBI its out of their jurisdiction. To have it make more sense, Lila is replaced or demoted and a new director is put in and her/his first action is to reform the Suicide Squad (or an equivalent; Strike Team X) and places Oliver on it with Dig as the handler. Cut. Would have made more sense that way.

A total retooling where the show becomes Dig and Lyla sending Oliver and Slade on covert missions all of the time would be fantastic.

Likewise. My dream is that the president pardoned him between seasons but wants him to go undercover in that prison for whatever reason. But, I doubt that will happen.
