Great episode. There was so much packed into the premiere. I'm really excited to see what is going to happen with Hong Kong. Roy seems to have the hang of things now. I guessing Diggle is going to take a backseat this season since he has a kid, and Roy can fill the role of key sidekick. Although I will miss Oliver and Diggle's morality discussions as they so constantly have if Diggle does vanish. And now that Sarah is gone I don't think we'll have the problem we had last season which was "too many cooks in the kitchen" at one point or another. Speaking of that, I know it's not a popular choice, but I'm excited to see Laurel potentially becoming Black Canary. I was never as down on her as a lot of people were. Maybe it's because she was the most attractive woman on the the show I don't know. Just don't remember being that annoyed with her character. Brandon Routh was great as Ray Palmer. Looks like he actually had some skills when he's allowed to actually speak dialogue. The new Vertigo goon was decent for the premiere, and I like that actor. I do wonder who is going to be the "big bad" for this season though.

Theres nothing wrong with having an opinon, alot of people were down on laurel in season 1, i was down on her because we already had a kick ass Canary in Sara and i can't see a legit reason why that needed to change. And no a legit reason is not becuase the producers have always said it(respect them for sticking to their guns) or Dinah Laurel Lance is Black Canary in the comics. But hey maybe Sara will return or maybe Laurel will grow on me i want to watch the journey before i decided. Relating to the cooks in the kitchen you may still have that problem last season Oliver, Diggle Felicity, Sara, Roy this season its Oliver Diggle Felicity Laurel Roy. Diggle will be in the arrowcave just not out in the field. The Big Bad is Ras Al Ghul

When Black Canary first showed up in this episode, I thought it could be Laurel--as Sara was supposed to be out of town--and the stuntwoman looked taller than Caity Lotz. So it either could be Laurel or Feilcity as the new Black Canary.

Speaking of stunts, Roy's double seems to do a lot of twirling in mid-air. I doubt that this is really necessary to take down the bad guys, but it looks pretty on screen.

That episode was great. I think it was Ras who killed sara they said he was in this season it would make sense if not Malcolm Merlyn, also the Oliver and Diggle moment in the hospital was so great.
I just hope they don't focus on the Ollie and Felicity story to much.

It was Sara not Laurel or Felicity, Laurel will more than likely take the mantle by the end of the series. Sara was killed and will remain that way

At leasts i have fanfiction to keep my sara love alive but i doubt that will last.

I knew something was going to happen the moment they didn't immediately cut away to other members of the cast after Sara and Laurel finished talking.
Plus the fact that she appeared right out of the blue was also weird.
Wasn't really that enamored with the character (Sara), though I can see why a lot were. Tight black leather outfit, perky, blonde, and lots of She-Fu.
As someone who prefers Laurel, I'm really not excited to see her getting thrust into that role (and outfit), so I hope Sara finds a way to come back.

I'm no fan of Laurel and would much prefer Sara to stay, but oh well..

Very glad they have anew Count Vertigo..the old one was so over the top it was ridiculous...this one is great.

Roy seems much less annoying now that his brooding and terrible Miraku shakes are done with

I thought Sara's death was a great way to mix things up. Moira's death was a slow burn thing, where Slade had been toying with the family for so long you knew someone was going to get it eventually (thought it might have been Thea at the time). And that was awesome, too. By making this death a mystery, ARROW continues to draw from the best of comic book traditions.

I see a love triangle in the works as Felicity represents his "Oliver" side and Laurel's Canary will play to his Arrow half.

Also, I think the fact that Oliver fears himself adds some interesting context to his discussion with Barry on the Flash. Perhaps he not only meant that Barry could inspire others, but that he was different because he could hold down two lives where Oliver can't.
