    Default The Swarm

Here is my original character called "The Swarm". His powers involve controlling swarms of bees.

Here is the mock-up comic to read.

Your drawing looks like Spider-Man, only with different coloring and a bee instead of a spider.

Did you know that Marvel Comics has a 40+ year-old character called Swarm, who controlls bees?

    I updated the story:

The Swarm advertisement card back (new story).jpg

Sam Schafer was an ordinary college student when one day on a school field trip he opens up an ancient Egyptian jar of honey on display at a museum.

The 5000 year old jar belonged to an Egyptian pharaoh and a curse was placed on the seal such that if any individual were to open the jar they would be horrifically transformed into a giant bee as a punishment for tampering with the pharaoh's food.

After opening the jar Sam finds himself terribly sick as his body starts the transformation process. Using his quick wits, he grabs onto his newly formed wings and rips them from his body. Interestingly, this stops the full transformation from happening.

He now finds himself equipped with incredible powers and abilities of the bee.
