Surprised that Terra and Cir El weren't on the list.

    Why?

There are still more female characters beyond the 90 I've had on these polls so far.
(Besides, I wasn't really following most DC comic books between 1995-2010, so I have no real knowledge / fondness for Cir-El. Had to look her up to find out who she even was in the first place.)

I thought that was Artemis of the Amazons and Firebird for a minute.

Has DC even had a character named "Firebird"?

I'm more aware of the Marvel Comics character.

So far, Jade (Jennie-Lynn Hayden) seems to be the early favorite.

Behind her are Naomi (Naomi McDuffie); Artemis Crock (Artemis / Tigress); Fuerza (Alexa Antigone); Shadow Lass (Tasmia Mallor of the LoSH); and XS (Jenni Ognats of the LoSH).

The closest is Flamebird, but they haven't been used in a while.

Out of these none to be honest. But for the sake of voting, Artemis.

    Jade
    Judomaster
    Shadow Lass
    XS

But Jade's the only one I'd pick up an "ongoing" for; the rest, maybe a one-shot or mini series.

I picked Artemis Crock, Firebrand, Iron Butterfly and Shadow Lass, if only because those four interested me the most, although I'm not sure that some of them could carry a series. (Of the four, Artemis Crock seems the most able to carry a series, IMO, but Shadow Lass, preferably as Shadow Champion of Talokk VIII, all sword and blaster planet-pulp goodness on her desert homeworld full of spacefaring barbarians, being Dune before Dune was even a thing, would be my absolute preference!)

    https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Firebird

Several. It's a name most recently used for members of the Russian equivalent to the JLA.

Most recent use was in: https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/People%27..._(Prime_Earth)

But that version of Firebird doesn't have a wiki page so I'm not even sure if it's a woman. She(?) is not even in the team pic. Left to right that team picture is: Vostok-X, Lady Flash(Ivana Molotova), Red Star(Leonid Kovar), Vladimir Putin(the historical figure), Pozhar/Firestorm(Mikhail Arkadin), Negative Woman(Valentina Vostok), Black Eagle.

Anyways, the previous Firebird was Serafina Arkadin... Mikhail's neice. Serafina's powers..... are very similar to those of Jean Grey(Phoenix in Marvel Comics Xmen). The current one is probably just a new version of her.
