Yupp. Sinister absolutely knows a lot more than he's let on. That frivolous, silly demeanor is just to keep every one else thinking he's not deadly serious doing seriously deadly and shady **** behind every one's backs.

I hope Psylocke tells the others what Sinister has been up to and is the one to ultimately take him down. She deserves that much.

All of this, I think people missed that "Sinister" is not just some cackling lunatic obsessed with capes. It established early on that Sinister retained memories Xavier thought he suppressed and was aware of far more than he let on and that he was able to hide all of this from all of the telepaths on Krakoa. He was also also one of the biggest threats in the Apocalypse lifetime of Moira significantly damaging both Mutant and Human sides in the conflict. I think they also mentioned that he had already started his Chimera work far earlier in this timeline than it took him in that lifeline.

The pose of being a goofy madman is just that, a pose to hide his real intentions behind.

    The issue was great.

I loved Nanny going crazy along with the other two. And Sinister being Sinister.

Arako's mutants are too bizarre full of deformities, and the ones that don't look like animals or insects lol. Nanny is the best thing about this book.

The art in this issue took a hit, but this book remains one of the strongest in the X-Line. The real question is when Sinister inevitably gets called to task for his conduct, what's to stop him from telling Xavier and company to go **** themselves since Sinister has all of the DNA samples?

This is a great issue to read.

I still hope with the talk of chimeras, we will see a chimera body made for Madelyne Pryor.

Tarn is a fascinating character and hope we see more of him. Especially the relationship between him and Mr Sinister, they appear to respect each other but create for different reasons.

Also, did anyone else notice Tarn say he was speaking to the "hidden one"? Does this mean there is Mr Sinister Prime out there unknown to us?

I see you say this in multiple threads… what is the point? Tarn and Locus Vile are the antagonists and no one is saying that you need to find them attractive yet you continuously bring it up.

Agreed with both, but this is in line with Xavier's hubris! Did he really believe he could mind-wipe Mr. Sinister a known doppelganger and considerable telepath in his own right and there be no consequences?

I don't see why something obvious can't be mentioned in a discussion thread.

Is that how chimeras work? Seems like they're independent individuals, just with blended powersets. I didn't see them as husks for existing characters.

If Moira is not several steps ahead on this chimera thing, I will be disappointed and wonder what the heck she learned during her nine lives.

I don’t think he will make. Chimera body for Madelyne. I think he will just create a new Madelyne by cloning. While Sinister does Chimera’s, he still does old fashion cloning like he did when he made a new body for Betsy.

We have no idea how the chimeras work tbh but I always remember the variant cover of POX where instead of Rasputin and Cardinal, it was Magik and Nightcrawler which made me think the chimeras might be the soul's of a mutant but none of the memories. I think there is some kind of connection between the x-gene and a person's soul which we are unaware of. t is only a theory but who knows what will happen here.

Totally agree about Moira. She knows Sinister will betray them at some point and that he already created a chimera in life 10 i.e. himself. If she is not on top of this, then it is a mountain size screw up on her part.

True, but I could see him using Madelyne as an experiment to test out his chimeras, maybe even his first chimera. It is not like he cares about at all, he only sees her as a tool to use as he sees fit. And Maddie still has a story to be told in Krakoa.

Also, from story standpoint, I do not see how the chimeras will build to anything unless it affects mutants on a deeper level. Simply introducing random chimeras without any connection to existing characters seem pointless. Where are the personal stakes? The resurrection of Madelyne Pryor in the body of a chimera seems to be the cherry on top to address all the negative sides of Krakoa i.e. the focus on the strong, the treatment of clones, how the famous mutants have things to do but everyone else is lost. Madelyne could be the voice of the disenfranchised mutants in Krakoa which would be awesome to see IMO. And as a chimera, she would be hard to ignore.

Not to say she is not a threat in her own body, but her return as a chimera would be epic.

I took it to mean Tarn can see through Sinister’s Capering Fool Act.

Kyle got neutered. Poor guy can’t catch a break. He’s got MommyK and GCDaddy looking out for him at least.

Sinister’s reference to “precious cargo” before Essex exits, pursued by a Tarn…MommyK’s little baby girl? Will she tell them why she’s been following Essex’s orders, no questions asked? She seems at the breaking point now.

I'm seeing some rumors that the series is ending soon. Not 'cancelled' kind of ending, but just reaching a natural conclusion.

That would make some sense, if it was created to deal specifically with Sinister and the Chimaera issue which as of today's release does seem to be on its way to coming to a head. I hope that when the dust settles we still get these characters serving a greater purpose.
