What New What If? Stories Do You Want?

As I have seen a remake of ‘The Invasion of the Body Snatchers’, this pops in my mind….What if the X-Men and other mutants in Krakoaland are Pod People?

I could imagine that whenever the mutant dies, they are reborn in pods and with their reborn selves, their doubts on the shady Xavier are erased. Usually the Pod People have no free will and they have unquestionable obedience to the leader.

I’m not sure this is a What If? I’ve been theorizing this for a long while now.

Ooh, I hadn't thought of that. 'Cap's Kooky Quartet' being Captain America, Hawkeye, Crystal and Medusa would have created a very different dynamic, and writers at the time kind of reflexively wrote female heroes into romantic plots with the male heroes whether or not they made any sense to be together back in those days.

Then again, Wanda managed to fend off Hawkeye's charms, so perhaps his obsession with Black Widow, at the time, would have spared Crystal as well.

Maybe he'd go after Medusa instead? .

Maybe the Avengers went to Attilan instead of the FF? Jan could be Crystal's new BFF.
