that's assuming you are using pre-Flashpoint Vic's origin which has been long overshadowed by his current origin and is unlikely to ever be used again; especially since (as people keep forgetting) we're still in the post-Flashpoint world just with pre-Flashpoint elements reintroduced and remembered. also, it's a What If, the timeline doesn't really matter considering you can explain that away in any number of ways. Holt became Mr. Terrific earlier, Vic's accident happened later, Holt took him on before he became Mr. Terrific, etc.

It looks to me like Teen Titans Academy made NTT (including Vic's origin) canon again. But even if you go with New52 Vic would as a founding member of the JL likely precede Mr. Terrific I think (not really sure the New 52 timeline is a mess).

Ok how I understand a "What If" is that you go back to a previous point in the continuity and look how it went when things turned out differently, and not that you make timeline changes like that.
