I understand. I imagine that isn't an issue that I'd want to read. It's like realizing that you're driving down the wrong interstate, but instead of course correcting, they floored the gas pedal all just to get to a place where they never intended to go or wanted to be.
I just finished the Punisher videogame. Killed everybody that got in the way, killed the big bad, blew up the whole building, left, have the victory screen... and then I get this text.
The next morning, the police searched through the rubble of the King building. They found over 296 ex-criminals.
But they could not find any body that could be identified as the Kingpin.
Vengeance burns eternal.
What? All the game was for nothing?
If we're talking only 616, then I remember that one instance from the Pre-Ennis/Phase 1 version of Marvel Knights: Punisher (1998):
