And no, not a fan of the demonic skull symbol. Either give him back some version of his original symbol, or kill the character off permanently and be done with it. I'm not even a fan of the Punisher and this rubs me the wrong way.
    whoa, this is so cool.

    I love how Momoko's characterizations.

him using katanas is really off character though, but I chalk it up to Momoko putting her spin on the character.

Right, but that just means that Frank really doesn't see any difference between himself and the evil that he claims that he wants to eradicate. He's supposed to be the solution, but he has to know that he's now part of the problem. So when does he off himself?
Well, keep in mind this is yet another "Hero turns evil?" storyline. It's not like it's the new status quo.

Frank's not even the first hero (if you see him that way) who joined Hydra for one reason or another.

I understand. I imagine that isn't an issue that I'd want to read. It's like realizing that you're driving down the wrong interstate, but instead of course correcting, they floored the gas pedal all just to get to a place where they never intended to go or wanted to be.

Yeah, I figured this was another antihero to true villain pivot. Not the first or the last. Still, I'd hope that Frank's code would rule the day for a change. See a villain, punish a villain.

Heck, he's not even the first one to join The Hand...

I actually meant to say the Hand, not Hydra. Goof on my part.

I just finished the Punisher videogame. Killed everybody that got in the way, killed the big bad, blew up the whole building, left, have the victory screen... and then I get this text.

The next morning, the police searched through the rubble of the King building. They found over 296 ex-criminals.
But they could not find any body that could be identified as the Kingpin.
    Vengeance burns eternal.

What? All the game was for nothing?

I don't remember Frank killing himself. Did this happen in Suicide Run?

If we're talking only 616, then I remember that one instance from the Pre-Ennis/Phase 1 version of Marvel Knights: Punisher (1998):

I read that mini in 2000 or so but I can't remember what happened in it. Going to have to re-read it someday to see what all the controversy about it is.

The Hand mostly uses mystic and ninja equipment. You must be thinking of Ra's al Ghul goons over at DC.

I think you missed the point of my post. But no worries, it's not that serious. As long as the Punisher fans like the story arc, that's all that matters.
