Image "Crossover" Donny Cates fans?

I'm nearly finished the first Volume of Crossover, Kids Love Chains...

Not sure if this volume ends on a big twist bit thus far its exciting enough that I will likely pick up Volume 2 but not so great that I can say I'm super excited by the series...

Maybe the end of V1 will get me more pumped...

Any thoughts from those that have gone deeper with the series? Any love this Image book?

I finished the first trade a couple of weeks ago. There's a great twist ending to that first volume, but I haven't followed any of the subsequent issues.

Yup I just finished yesterday and the twist was exciting enough that I likely will grab volume 2

I've been following it since it came out.
Not Cates' best work, it's essentially a very comic book comic. What i mean by this is that it feels like Cates wrote it for his friends.

I recommend #7 which is written by Chip Zdarsky.
It's by for the best issue and is what i expected from this series
Anyway, i'm enjoying it, but not as much as Venom or Thor.
