    The distinguished gentlemen skeletons are something that Mignola likes to draw pretty frequently - skeletons dressed in Victorian clothing, i.e. the "Skeleton Head" character. Similarly, the other Joker is another thing that he seems to enjoy drawing - architectural and/or graveyard statuary.

    Yes, the Queen of Spades is Hecate (in her Iron Maiden form).

    The Jack of Spades is Igor Bromhead from "Box Full of Evil." He's holding Saint Dunstan's box.

    The Jack of Diamonds is Sir Edward Grey, who first appeared in the pages of Hellboy but was spun off into his own series "Witchfinder." He's holding an ancient weapon fashioned from the broken blade of a Hyperborean sword, which first appeared in the Witchfinder series.
