I thought that too, with all the other old villains that have been popping up between stuff like Earth One and the main title, it wouldn't surprise me.

Me too. And i don't want to be the obssesed with power level person again. But i can't help to ask. Why would steve trevor be a threat to WW? Who cares if he wants to kill her. Even if she holds back, how could he harm her in any way?

It's an illusiom bro, his actual power level doesn't matter. Even Jimmy Olsen would be a threat versus Superman if he was trapped in an illusion.

I am not too sure about that.

And i'm going to be honest. This past week i have beem bombed by a lot of scans showing WW. Struggling with Aquaman, Mera, ra ghul, Slade, lifting planes, etc. I am too tired of this character being so inconsistent. I can no longer enjoy her stories because of how inconsistent she has become.

This is very clearly telegraphed as not being the real Steve and is part of whatever illusions she's trapped in. It'd be neat if this was Dr. Psycho and it was a callback to Captain Wonder.

Some of the things in this series seem concerning, but this one isn't even a blip on the radar. At least not yet.

I’m down for seeing Steve used in a WW comic—even if it is an illusion. I miss him.

But, wow, is it just me or does it seem like we get a lot of “Wonder Woman doesn’t know how she wound up in fill-in-the-blank” type stories?

I only support the made of clay origin.

You're not wrong. At least the Afterworlds arc was really good, but I'm glad it's over so we can see Diana back on Earth with her regular cast and villains

Agreed. Especially since her regular/iconic supporting cast usually disappears and is rarely seen. I see no reason why he shouldn't be a staple like Lois/Jimmy/Daily Planet is to Superman.

    I have a suggestion:

    Stop reading comic books.

You're never going to find a single character in superhero comics that is consistent. Power levels and etc change when the writers do.

    Thank you for the sugestion.

Actually there are plenty of characters nowadays more consistent than current Wonder Woman. That is the problem. Comics in general do hav inconsistent moments. But current WW is one of the most inconsistent and i can't think of any reason other than lazyness. Her power level is all over the place.

That don't sounds like the current Wonder Woman, when did she fight Aquaman, Mera, Ra's Al Ghul, or lifted a plane? She had a teaser of a fight with Slade a year ago, but they just stopped fighting.

Aquaman is current WW. She has fought him multiple times. There was a Mera fight in Rebirth. She struggled twith a plane in gww, and to lift the watchtower with Superman etc. If you mean if she did any of this this year no. But all of this happened in the last few years of rebirth, which is the most current version.

Have you considered that maybe Diana struggling against these characters isn't a knock against Diana and is more of something of a compliment to the other characters involved? Aquaman and Mera aren't any to sneeze at and Mera's control over water gives her something that Diana SHOULD reasonably struggle against: range. DC is a big universe and Diana should struggle sometimes.
