I think if we're going to have all three of them active as Batgirls you should show that they can co-exist and work together...as Batgirls.

This, this is what most fans I think expected and wanted.

Although it's confusing, Stephanie and Cassandra are the Batgirls, while Barbara is Batgirl/Oracle. Even writers have made that division.

I suspect Stephanie and Cassandra will have another code name too.

Yeah, it's confusing - why have the writers made that division?

    Batgirl-1, Batgirl-2, and Batgirl-Prime.

I think Batgirl-2 makes it sound like she's inferior to Batgirl-1, she should be renamed to Batgirl-A.

Prime means 1. If they numbered them, then Cass would be Batgirl 2 and Steph Batgirl 3. Flamebird would technically be Batgirl Zero, as she predates Babs.

The same logic was used when Captain Marvel Junior became CM3 - Mary Marvel being the second CM.

I guess it's because they want to put Stephanie and Cassandra in equal level, while Barbara is a superior level. Curiously, this wouldn't exactly be for Barbara's benefit.

Batgirls comic is clearly directed to a younger audience, that's why Stephanie and Cassandra are the main leads, while Barbara is the mentor (responsible adult).

DC always wanted to use the Batgirl name to appeal a younger audience, but Barbara couldn't really work for that (DC tried with Burnside Batgirl)

    Nice!
After all the teasing, there's finally get a sneak peek at the upcoming Batgirls book, and whilst it's great to see Steph and Cass finally as the main stars in an ongoing book, (as opposed to the several larger team books or one off guest appearances), considering that Babs solo book was taken away, (and doesn't appear to be returning) it would have been nicer if she got to be Batgirl alongside them, as a trio. Hopefully we'll also see more of her than what the covers imply.

This Ryan Gonzales variant is the cutest
    Steph has Tim plushie
Cass has Conner plushie since they used to have a crush on each other
    They're taking care of Bitewing
Bitewing has her own Nightwing toy

They're playing an 8-bit Batman fighting game with Mario background and Insert Coin text like it's an emulation of an Arcade game... on a Playstation. Must be one of those Remastered throwback games they buy on PS Store ^^

Steph looks more frazzled here than I was expecting. Maybe it's what the hood does to her hair...
