I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.
(Marvel/DC fan for 44+ years)
I personally like her as Ms. Marvel because there are so many space cops out in the Marvel Universe already.
Plus I really enjoyed her relationship with the Avengers & X-Men and the latter is barely even mentioned nowadays

She was one of my favorite characters of all time as Ms Marvel. The Avengers, her own stories and other friendships like with Spider-man was just *chef's kiss*.
Captain Marvel is one of my least favorite characters specially after CW2.
The Black and Gold
Warbird
Kurt Busiek rules!
I loved her as Ms. Marvel. I can't stand her as Captain Marvel, she feels like a completely different character. Warbird was Ms. Marvel with a bad new codename.
I voted for Ms. Marvel Avengers as that was her best portrayal, but I like her original 70's costume the best.

TO KNOW HER IS TO FEAR HER: JESSICA DREW THE SPIDER-WOMAN
BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE NEW 2024 SPIDER-WOMAN SERIES by STEVE FOXE!!!
MISSING:
Synch's Aura
Northstar and Aurora's shiny hair
Spider-Woman’s cowl costume
Ms. Marvel (Avengers era) is my favorite version of Carol (by far), so it gets my vote.
"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
We can still have stories like that, but Marvel isn't interested in that kind of talent and when they do they seem to put them on projects that are located at the edges of the Marvel Universe. Which is sad because the older talent can tell stories with a clear beginning, middle and end without butchering the characterization.
I'm not saying replace everyone. I'm just saying that at this point we all know the young creators that are working....and the one's that need more seasoning. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Marvel doesn't have the talent to sustain the amount of books it puts out. Marvel has the talent to put out twenty-five to thirty books.
"The Marvel EIC Chair has a certain curse that goes along with it: it tends to drive people insane, and ultimately, out of the business altogether. It is the notorious last stop for many staffers, as once you've sat in The Big Chair, your pariah status is usually locked in." Christopher Priest
I like Kamala. I've enjoyed Carol Danvers Captain Marvel comics. But she'll always be Ms. Marvel to me.
I really liked the Kurt Busiek reboot of Carol as Warbird. I'm drastically in the minority on that, I'm sure. But it was very cool.
I accept she is "captain marvel" now. I just leave it at that.
I went w. Binary.
It was cool that she bounced back from all the turmoil in her life to include being depowered by Rogue, proved she could still kick ass as a normal person, wound up more powerful than ever, and became an earthling in Marvel’s cosmic scene, which were few and far between back then.
It was after her time as Binary that she started becoming the craptacular person we all know and love.
