Danny DeVito writing a Penguin story makes me think he actually is in the Flash movie.

I'm very curious about that Penguin story now.

Also, hey, someone remembered Killer Moth!

I wonder what they mean by "original Red Hood" considering that was...well, Joker. Unless it was the OG!Red Hood that inspired all the copycats?

Love all of this. Danny Devito's Penguin story would be enough for me (the art in the previews looks glorious), but there's so much more inside. The classic rogues gallery - and Killer Moth! Love Killer Moth since he was in that delightfully ridiculous episode of The Batman (2005), which also had a fun take on the Penguin.

Loving that Dan Mora look .

    I'm glad they're fixing Killer Moth's costume.

Will they deal with his "Charaxes" period, or just ignore that?

Ah, so this is where the cartoons got the idea for monster Killer Moth...

Gross, and that's 9 years after The Fly. They kinda late.

Though that explains why Killer Moth in Arkham game encase their victims in coccoon. So they based it on this,

This should be fun, getting Danny for the Penguin story is a good gimmick, I'm game to see how a story he tells.

Mostly I just see that Frank Quitely Batman Returns style Penguin and wish Quitely had been able to illustrate Morrison's "Revenge of the Red Hood" arc that featured Penguin somewhat, because we could've gotten a bunch of panels of that! I don't tend to like Oswald to be "all the way Tim Burton" in style - I'm a Burgess Meredith man, myself - but I don't mind some of it bleeding into his look and design, sort of a half-and-half. I thought Gotham's take was okay because it sort of split the difference. Anywhooooo
Retro315 no more. Anonymity is so 2005.

I was really only interested in the Scarecrow and Poison Ivy variants—they're stellar—but I might have to give this a read now, knowing all the characters involved.

It sounds tempting, but I hated Danny DeVito as the Penguin.

Waaaaaaaaay too over the top for my tastes.
