So in honor of the Show I thought it would be fun to talk about our favorite issues of What IF's
for me there are a couple.
What if Punisher killed Daredevil is a good one. Where Spiderman goes after Punisher out of guilt for not stopping him before. Just a wild ride.
There was one cant remember the title where Aunt May had died and not Uncle Ben. In it Peter tells him he is Spiderman and ben upset at JJJ attacking Spiderman has peter tell him. And John when he is effected by the space spores goes after green Goblin. It.
And for sheer wackiness I have a couple words. The Golden Oldie! I will just sit back and let every one who knows about that remember that it happened and we as a society let it happen.

I enjoyed "what if Wolverine became Lord of the Vampires." When they did Secret Wars with all of the different worlds, I would have loved to have seen that world make a reappearance. They could have done a MU vampires vs MU zombies.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

I really liked this What If story by Karl Bollers with art by Jorge Molina. It was such an epic single issue story

What if 13, and 43: Conan in modern day. These more than most just worked for me.
