Like others have said many heroes in Marvel have used dark magic Strange included. Wanda only wanted to bring back her kids that’s it. Using it like that is not a bad choice no matter how hard you want it to be.

This, like the others have done much more with far less motivation.
And people aren't even willing to admit that Doom and Magneto were at fault as well.

I did but I bought a copy and tried to redeem the digital code, but that didn’t work. I messaged tech support and they gave me a code that did. They said they are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it

Didn’t he also betray Lorna at the end of his solo series? Nonetheless, i did think the Lorna stuff was very melodramatic. Maybe if she had actually approached him alone the scene could have more naturally escalated.

Williams honestly does better with lesser known characters that need character defining moments. The minute she was announced for this series i scratched my head because nothing about X-Factor seemed to indicate she would write a good Magneto.

There was also the betrayal in the Dark Seduction mini.

This was a magnificent issue and the art was great.

I am wondering why they didn't put this story as part of X-Factor instead of creating another miniseries which is silly.

I was the same as you with the app not working. If you don't want to wait until they fix it, you can use Comixology instead. I downloaded it yesterday and was also able to merge the account with all the comics I've bought from the Marvel app over the years, so I can still access everything, just as if I was using the Marvel app. I also found Comixology to be easy to use and the issues are also a bit cheaper than buying through Marvel (money saved!)

It started good with the detective skill of Xfactor and asking the prevalent questions.

Then it went melodramatic and kinda dumb. Magneto just sound and fury and not helping his case at all. Lorna's huge declaration felt like daytime tv drama. Everyone is just on board with Mags killing Wanda without mentioning the motive.

Also disappointed in Storm not voting for Wanda to be brought back.

Quicksilver's finally back so thats nice. Wanda's in the Ethereal plane so there's that. It was ok.

This issue could have done with more investigating and less pointless fisticuffs and grandstanding and might have been better served if Leah was allowed to build up to it naturally rather than pushing it through the way Marvel/X-Editorial did by cancelling her initial run.
Plus, with everything else going on currently...with Inferno, Planet Arakko etc. this story really did not absolutely need to be told now, if at all, really.

Yuuuuup. I'm guessing they wanted it told before whatever relaunch is coming in January, but this "event" is going to get completely overshadowed by Inferno especially now that we know Hickman is leaving afterwards.

Said 'children' were magical conjurations to begin with, no? WandaVision's version was succinct in their telling: Wanda was fulfilling her own desires, no matter the collateral damage. Selfish, in a word. We can emotionally understand the temptation [with such power at hand], but was it right? No.
