The Cover Contest Weekly Winners ThreadSo much winning!!
"When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross." - Sinclair Lewis
“It’s your party and you can cry if you want to.” - Captain Europe
This week is going to be tough! Half a dozen all time classics have already been posted!
Not trying to be a stickler, but I don't think these two comply with the contest theme. The characters as they're depicted on those covers are purposefully the size they're supposed to be, it's not "dramatic effect" as described in the first post.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
and not an entry, since it isn't a cover, but it what I found first and was disappointed it wasn't a cover.

IMHO one of the best comic runs: Morrison and Porter's JLA!

Spoiler Alert: It wasn't! Just for volume 1!
