I did get that comic at my LCS. IIRC some doofus got knowledge of something realllly bad that he did (we never find out what exactly it was). He tries to cash in on it and blackmail Doom ...bad move. Soon people around the guy, people he told that he knows this secret start dying.

Nice to see you joining the contest, Doomscribe!

This was one of the first half-dozen comics I bought. I think it was my second Marvel comic. I still have my copy.

X-Men #4, March 1964, cover by Jack Kirby & George Roussos.

Nice to see the artist (Mike Sekowsky?) paid attention to detail regarding the cuticles on Gigantic Diana's hand.

Irv Novick, according to the DC Comics Database.

Are the Brotherhood big, or the X-Men small? it's a puzzlement?

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Magneto looks like he is still deeply entrenched in PTSD from the war.

Another NOT AN ENTRY. But love this splash from Fantastic Four #121 as Buscema takes on the mantle of Kirby.

Feel free to use the above image, or your original, or both to verify and compare.
Lol, it seems my google skills sucked yesterday. But yes, that is it.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

And then there is the coloring mistake with Scarlet Witch wearing green. I guess they didn't tell the colorist her name..IIRC Stan Goldberg did a lot of the coloring work back in Marvel's Silver Age.
