I mean Erik would do the exact same thing if the role were reversed or if it was anyone else really. QC isn't integral to Krakoa existence, if the QC doesn't work then they'll just come up with something else.

As long as Moira is around, Xavier is keeping his positions. Why wouldn't they trust Charles with the resurrections anymore? All the evidences points to Mags as the culprit, just because Xavier decided to poke around his mind instead of having a traditional interrogation has really no bearing on Xavier role in resurrections.

Charles refused to resurrect his own son and it hasn't affected his role or the trust people have in him to carry out resurrections so I don't see why this would.

I think Pietro knocked her around a bit when he was possessed 1 time IDK what his top speed is though. Side note I need to catch up on One Piece.

But Magneto has just been nearly beaten to death by Quicksilver, surely as evidenced with his confrontation with the X teams and Magnetos demeanour towards the Quiet Council it would be easier to look for answers while he is down and out.
