I don't even know what is the point?
There are loads of fantasy stories where there are really no deities and the magic users in those ficitonal worlds are basically the scientists type.(Witcher for example, if anything they are the most godless type to the world's inhabitants.) But somehow, we need to apply "muh real world magic rules" to a ficitonal world.(That has been retconned and reworked multiple times.)
Even in Marvel Universe, that explanation would just automatically lead to mystical beings' offspring somehow being the worshipper of their parents/creators if they have similar power set. Like dudes have obsession with shoving some newfound knowledge into everything they see I guess.

It's such a reach that even Reed can't make it.

I think we took a few pages written by Hickman and attributed that to how all writers in the current x-books see Wanda. A novice at magic she is not and Strange degrading her is something he wouldn’t do especially the zombie thing cause Strange did something similar himself so that would be the pot calling the kettle black. Wanda does have guilt and she has been shown by different writers how she may handle it, though her current personality is more realistic to how someone would be with depression stemming from guilt and grief.

If Marvel ever wanted to do something like that, I'd be for it. Romani Jewish is certainly more valid than Pagan (Paganism runs against Romanipe). But they never did that. Her Jewishness was something Tumblr ran away with.

But someone with a patrilineal Jewish descent can get Israeli citizenship or citizenship from any of the European countries that offer citizenship to the descendants of persecuted Jews.
