Correct. I actually care about those because they get more effort put into them. And even some permanent ones are cringe (Reed and Sue). Whereas with friends, I actually feel something for them. that's partially what a lot of these teams are based on anyway

Well, there are also plenty of well-written Marvel romances in my opinion...

Peter Parker/Mary Jane Watson(-Parker), if you look at their overall history. They evolved into a great and epic romance over time, as opposed to being written with that in mind from the start. That's probably why it worked out better, barring One More Day and its continued fallout, since their evolution as a couple (that eventually got married) also intertwined with their individual development and growth as characters.

Rogue and Gambit are a solid romance. Cyclops and Emma Frost…in my opinion.

They're ok. I guess that's one, although I'm lukewarm to them.

    Didn't Emma psychically manipulate Scott?

And Gambit and Rogue always seemed odd to me. Too much will they/won't they

    I'll admit that's rather lame.

Thanks. Rather enjoyed the latest iteration in Doctor Strange: Damnation with Scarlet Spider/Ben Reilly, and looking forward to seeing if the Midnight Suns game inspires a new series in the comics.

man this looks good, but I can't commit until I see the microtransactions situation because card games are notorious for jam packing them
