The ending of Outsiders Future State is probably the most exciting and badass moment Duke Thomas has ever had.

I kept seeing that scene. Just the end part "Shoot then" and I swear I came to this thread to say it was the crowning moment of awesome ...for JAKEEM THUNDER! I saw that art a lot but didn't know what book it was from and saw
what I thought was Jakeem and Thunderbolt... Honestly I feel like it'd be a badass scene for him but. Imagine my surprise.

That being said I've never been in love with The batman... but today I saw a scene from a book where the big 3 touched the lasso of truth and were asked to reveal their true identities.

One wonders if Darkseid has a deal for new eyes, because not too long after that IIRC on the times here, nu52 Power Girl did her version of that trick, with the simpler expedient of simply walking through his Omega Beams and gouging out one of his eyes. Which is odd, because at another time in that fight, she simply outflew them. Why do that when you can simply shrug off Darkseid's most potent weapon?

Anyhow, important safety tip when fighting Darkseid...go for the eyes. Though honestly, I wonder why no one ever just kicked him in the crotch. Or you know, one of the Supers doing their squeezing coal into diamonds trick.
