Dragonball M, Chapter 5: Clarion’s Call! The Signal! The Fate of the Universes!

[Sub-Zero MKA]

The twelve vampires moves quickly. Four target Pinach and Rutaba. while the rest are around and go after Maiz and the children.

The two Saiyans quickly find themselves entirely on the defensive as they are played with. Four more break off and start picking off any of the other defending Saiyans, while the last four appear in front of Maiz.

Maiz stopped dead in her tracks. "Stay away!"

In her arms, Garnish and Mais whimpered quietly and covered their eyes. Kumara, on the other hand, started to get agitated and wriggled in Maiz's grasped.

Meanwhile, Pinach and Rutaba tried their best to find off the four Arcosians that were assaulting them seemingly from all sides. Even splitting them in half and taking on two at once did little more than isolate themselves from the other. "You bastards won't win!" Pinach snarled. He shot into the air and cupped his hands together. "Ka Me Ha Me....HAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Rutaba shot into the air in the opposite direction and cupped her hands together. "Galick Gun... FIRE!!" The azure and violet beams hurtled through the air and collided on top of the four vampire Icers, creating an expansive explosion that, hopefully, engulfed the four.

Meanwhile, both Sarada's arrived on Ruco at the same time. Without a word shared, they merged together into one Sarada. Finally at full power, she powered up to Super Saiyan 2, then with a harrowing and thunderous roar, powered up to Super Saiyan 3. She took a moment to survey the scene; what she saw was horrific. Hundreds of her soldiers laid dead on the beach. Neva was fighting a person she could only assume was the God of Destruction she had been told about, Cancer. She decided to leave that to her. Further out at sea, Maiz had the children and they were surrounded by four Arcosians.

"Damn them!" Like a bolt of lightning, she careened toward them, violet ki pooling in both her hands. There was no time to charge anything up. Time was very much of the essence; both because the others weren't going to last very long and neither was Super Saiyan 3.

When she was close enough that she could aim without hitting Maiz or the kids, she thrust her hands forward. "GALICK DESTROYER!"

The massive violet beam, larger and more potent than any Galick Gun she had ever fired, hurtled through the air. It barely missed a dodged Maiz and struck the Arcosians head on.

OT: Super Saiyan 3 1/10

[Monstrous Bird of Qin, Ou Ki]

Cancer looks at Narayana and the red light gleams off her fangs.

“Sakin wants leverage, just in case. Always plays to be cautious. Now…….Inthink we need to get reacquainted.”

Seven balls of Hakai manifest and are flung towards Narayana.

Auroc answers Totoma.

“Magic works well. Transmutation, alteration. Solar energy concentrated too. Godly energy if you have any.”

Leverage. That implied that Sakin, indeed, feared these saiyans. No, he feared not only the saiyans, but the M Fighters as a whole.

For that, she could not blame him. Time and again, they'd been faced with impossible odds, only to emerge victorious. And unlike most groups of high-level fighters, they knew the value of working together.

...but right now, they were scattered, separated by the void of space, and so one of their strongest advantages was rendered null. Wonderful.

And here she was, in a vessel that was only just beginning to be able to channel the barest glimmer of her potential, facing a God of Destruction.

What in the hell was wrong with her?

It had come to this... she, the avatar of the embodiment of the preserver of all things, fighting Cancer, an embodiment of the destruction of all things.

In response to Cancer's attack, Narayana made a wide circling motion with her arms, forming six 'wings' of pure hozon...



....and sent them on a crash course with five of the balls. The other, two, however, were too fast to dodge...

Think!

Narayana thrust out their hands, coating them in Hozon, catching the Hakai and being pushed back, the two diametrically opposed energies struggling against each other. With effort, she pushed the two hakai balls together, apparently attempting to merge and control them. In reality...

When they had been pushed close enough together, her form split, and the balls went flying through the space where Narayana had been, with two of her barely missing getting clipped. Her breath was ragged and hoarse just from the effort.

No time to rest.

Both Narayana's bodies erupted in light, as they both transformed, using her body's new enhanced shapeshifting, into a beam of magical light and hozon, racing at lightspeed towards Cancer.

Totoma blinked. They needed magic or... godly energies. Both of which he lacked.

Well, he had a bit of magic, but these leeches didn't wear clothing, so 'explode clothes to see boobs' magic probably wasn't useful.

Wait!

Holding out his hand, he summoned the Nine-toothed Rake. This was magic... probably. Powered by converted ki from the user, but still magic. Maybe freezing them would work? Raising the rake above his head for a moment, he swung it downward at the leeches, sending out a biting cold wave of ice.

Blizzar, your tactic works and the flan like alien is burned to ash by the ships engine.

The space battle around you has slid more towards the defenders side, but they are still out numbered and outgunned.

Blizzar saw the tide change, but he still didn't quite like their odds. He pulled out comms. "This is former Lieutenant Blizzar speaking. All GP Fighters currently engaging hostiles...make a full retreat to HQ!"

Dr. Cast's voice blared through in response, "Blizzar! Good to see you! Are you buying us more time?"

"So to speak..." Blizzar responded. "Everyone, simply stand by and wait for my signal..." he muttered, fiddling with something in his hand.

"Roger that..." P-Sta noted as he and his siblings made their way to dock back into HQ.

To cover their escape, Blizzar began to use his TK to attempt to smash enemy ships into one another.

[Monstrous Bird of Qin, Ou Ki]

On Ruco, a certain figure watched the... festivities from afar. He had traveled here to get some rest and relaxation--Vaikuntha was pleasant, to be sure, but it was so... isolated. When it was attacked, he had done what he could to protect the citizens in secret, and had figured things were fine when those forces had retreated. It seems he had been mistaken.

Maiz had appeared, and then Parsley--or someone he had thought was Parsley--had appeared, and soon, all hell broke loose. Nevanlinna--Malaya--appeared, drew this individual's attention quite quickly with... Hozon, it appeared, and now they were engaged in a duel. The mysterious thing's subordinates had gone after the remaining saiyan warriors, including Rutaba and Pinach, and Maiz and the children she was watching over.

E Bekon considered intervening, briefly, but his foresight told him everything he needed to know.

It was pointless. Everyone here would die. This being, whatever it was, would have its fun, then dispose of Nevanlinna, Sarada, Maiz, and everyone else. His foresight could be wrong, but with every shift in the future, the result was the same... death. There was no point in him joining a hopeless battle--especially when he was likely very close to returning to his own timeline.

I know staying out of this is logical. So why do I feel so bad?

The emperor sighed and closed his eyes, focusing his precognitive senses to explore futures besides the immediate.

The defenders here have pushed the Khanate and mages back, only the Tupla demons standing in the way of a proper route. Cask is safe for now.

Sasheem nods, half in relief, half disappointment. "Well, if the fight ain't here, it's back at the Lookout..." the Majin nodded. "Seeing the Snake School and their conscripted allies picking off stragglers Sasheem descended down to greet the Snake Mistress. "Looks like we're not needed here. Need you guys to be at the ready though. Just listen for Sasheems call to action and we'll have to take the fight up there..." Sasheem pointed at the sky, at the Dreadnaught of Mala. "Just send a messenger should some other **** go down."

"...But not yet. Rest up, get these bozos in line. Sasheem has to go back and help take care of something first!" Sasheem rushed back to the Lookout. Looking back, he saw the "troop" he'd brought back to deal with Auroc still, tailing him. "Hey, Sasheem actually wants you gone now, so fall back gramps!"

This man he spoke to, an elderly sort, merely chuckled. "Hoho, now this may be something I can assist in. I'm surprised you know..." he sighed, lifting his hands up to reveal what appeared to be a pearly-white throne, causing Sasheem to flinch. "To think I arrived, marching on your doorstep to use this yet again, only to realize it would be a grave mistake. You have grown much and-"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever just put that thing away!" Sasheem grimaced, speeding up and rushing back towards the Lookout's floor in the middle of it's turmoil.

The four fighting Pinach and Rutaba emerge from the explosion and quickly slap the two out of the sky and down to the ground.

Meanwhile, the four around Maiz scatter, their afterimages having been hit by Sarada’s attacks and not them. Two, the biggest and in the most advanced forms, fly toward Sarada while the other two turn towards Maiz. She can feel a tug as they use their TK to start and pry the three children towards themselves.

Your enhanced senses tell you that the Dreadnaught is a host. The large form is a mecha almost of organic nature, and it is capable of sending out waves of smaller ‘drones’ that land on planets and starts and consume them wholesale.

The shield itself is actually a distorted dimension that surrounds the creature.

Auroc grunts in his mind, lifting the lookout.

‘I would suggest you not let any of its parasites or drones or whatever hit your planet….if you want it to still be here.’

"Spoken from experience, no doubt. Understood."

Of course, speaking of the deed and enacting it were quite different things entirely, and as Ochazuke surveyed the sifting, mock-organic matrix of the Dreadnaught, beyond its formidable defenses they had managed to pierce by chance, the virulent nature of its makeup stood prominent.

"Coldlight, this is Gotengo. Commence the attack run. We can't let it push forward, so we'll have to come to it."

The Chaff cloud had it locked down, but only for a moment. Fortunately, the crew of the vessel had been preparing the next step.

"Fire the Maser!"

The great Bow Drill of the Gotengo glowed with the energy projected into it, a structure of super-katchin that magnified the wave-emission put into it to a focal point. This was the medium a beam of focused radiation attuned to the Dreadnaught's specific frequency; carried upon a ray of cold, neon blue, at Ochazuke's command it carried a message directed upon the targeting vector.

Linked into the machine, he and the crew acted as one, and channeling his own ki into the superstructure interface at the heart of the machine, its weapons were his to project his energy through as well.

The Iron Wind of Kongosho snuffed out energies and pushed them from their bodies. Now, carried upon the Maser frequency, it fired a beam intent on freezing the Dreadnaught's machine-clusters before they could animate.

All the while, Ochazuke continued to search.

"The Doctor had borne witness of a machine such as this in another lifetime...there must be a central cluster; a brain of some sort, or more accurately, a heart."

Haru and Sickle both blur and attack Praxat from different sides, one swooping low and the other high.

Praxat uses her sense of electroreception to anticipate their attacks and her reflexes to dodge, block, reflect and counter any that she can. Fighting them both unarm and with her sword simultaneously. While storing and accumulate ambient electromagnetic energy and add to her own.

During the fight, it will look like Praxat's sword is attack and moving by itself.

A sea of those leeches are exposed under the lookout, the afore mentioned building falling faster and faster.

Praxat uses her sense of electroreception to anticipate their attacks and her reflexes to dodge, block, reflect and counter any that she can. Fighting them both unarm and with her sword simultaneously. While storing and accumulate ambient electromagnetic energy and add to her own.

During the fight, it will look like Praxat's sword is attack and moving by itself.

‘Roger, commencing attack run.’

The Coldlight lights the thing up even as the Gotenga fires. Ochazuke can see the chaff wear off, the Dreadnaught lift an arm and start to swing down, preparing to launch its parasites toward Earth, when the blue beam strikes true and, once again, it seems to freeze in place.

All the while you search and search, and barely you sense what may be a code to the thing. But it’s buried deep inside the monstrosity.

Totoma, the ice coats and freezes the leeches. It seems to stop them…cold.

The two Narayana-beams swirled together and merged back into a single being.

This was the first time she'd really used her upgraded shapeshifting in a fight, and while such quick, full-body transformation was hard, especially while multi-tasking, so far, it was performing excellently. She'd caught Cancer off-guard, but she knew that the God of Destruction was simply humoring her for her own amusement. The best she could do was stall for time...

...and that fact vexed her to no end.

Her aura of ki and hozon flaring to life around her, she took to flight after Cancer. As she flew, she formed a small Ether Strike, and when she caught up to the GoD, she arc'd upwards and launched it at the god of destruction.

...wow, it worked. Probably not for long, but...

Twirling the nine-toothed rake, Totoma swung it upwards, which, rather than sending ice as with the downward slash, sent a large pillar of magicki (heh, thought that up on the spot) flame washing over the frozen Leeches. It wasn't transmutation or alteration, but hopefully the swing from magicold to magi...cooked... would actually cause some permanent damage. Or even kill them.

Could they even be killed?

One lands a hit that doubles Praxat over while the other, Suckle, tail strikes her and sends her careening across the city.

Praxat stops herself before hitting a tree and quickly gets back to the fight, all the while storing and accumulate ambient electromagnetic energy and add to her own. She attacks them both and uses her sense of electroreception to anticipate their attacks.

To Haru and Sickle, it would seem like Praxat had gotten stronger and faster than before. That her reflexes are quicker than before. This is surprises even Praxat. ( Wait, I'm stronger and faster than before, but I'm still in my base state,) Praxat thought.

" How is this possible wait could storing, accumulating ambient electromagnetic energy and add to my own be amplifying me somehow?) Praxat thought.
