Titans have released Adrian Petersen after 3 games.

Looks like Zach Wilson will be back to start as Jets QB. He was cleared to return just as Mike White tested positive for COVID and Joe Flacco got put on the COVID list as a close contact.

Just saw on the ESPN bottom screen crawl about Peterson having been released. Was that his swan song? Who can say. As for the Jets, to call that team a circus is an insult to circuses.

The Giants are gonna try to blame Garrett on the fact Daniel Jones hasn't progressed while he's not had Barkley in the 19 games (outta 26 he coached as offensive cooridinator). In all this is one of those...nothing really went right from QB who kept turning ball over as we know and others not healthy beyond Barkley this season. Judge himself will likely get another season but given how Jones has played , the idea he's the next Peyton Manning is a huge leap at this point.

Jones would be better off trying to be Dakota Fanning than Payton Manning.

Flacco was unvaxxed, too, so if he tests positives, he's gonna miss more than Sunday.

There's a chance we get reminded Josh Johnson is still in the league if anything happens to Zach Wilson this week. Good lord, what a s*** show the Jets are. And I'm saying this about 32 hours before we have the Bears/Lions on Thanksgiving.

But remember, last season Judge was fighting with his offensive line coach.

There's one consistent thing from the past two years from the G-Men in terms of f*** ups, and it's that Joe Judge isn't worth the drama he brings based on the on-the-field results. Firing Garrett... there's no way that is going to reverse the team's fortunes. I can't believe the guy who worked with Tony Romo and Dak Prescott in his budding career... THAT guy as the OC was the Giants' real problem, so says Joe Judge.

Between the mess on offense with the Giants that got Jason Garrett axed and the Jets replicating Denver's COVID screw up from last year, BOTH New York teams are an absolute shitshow right now.

Here's the good news for some teams... on the 2022 Draft. If the season ended today....

Obviously, the Lions are the current front-runners for the #1 overall pick. They also have #23 slotted.
Meanwhile, the Jets would pick at #2, and #9. That might mean they might have a cross town partner who want to move up to #1 or #2 because...
The Giants have picks #5 and #6, currently.
The Eagles, while not having the worst season, have someone else's picks... and would go at #8 and #15.

Houston and Jackonville sit at #3 and #4, and would almost definitely want to move down for more picks with some of those teams, if they were so bold as to give up two #1's for the higher spots.

What I'm saying is, expect some teams to find dance partners after the combine.

With Jalen Hurts appearing to have locked down the quarterback position for the Birds for 2022, that frees them up to use those two first round picks to shore up the defense, most notably a lineman and a d-back..

Giants man! They fired Garret but that aint going to fix anything. How many teams get 3 first round draft picks on the same draft and the best one in the bunch is only an Okay player?

Thing is while Garret was bad, there are bigger problems. Judge of course and the fact the GM is 14-40. Maybe it starts at the top? Of course they needed someone to fall on the sword. Giants need to clean house and just start over.
